Just like the tallest buildings and the longest SUV's there is a never ending battle to build the largest hamburger. Once again the record has been broken. This time on July 3, 2011 at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, CA.
The record breaker weighed in at a very impressive 777 pounds including all the trimmings. It took 13 hours for the ten person crew to actually cook the burger alone. Breaking the former world record by 187 pounds, the new contender is awaiting documentation from Guinness World Records.
